The meeting was opened with a Reading from Matthew 16 v 21-28 & prayer.
Matters Arising
Reply from Presbytery re long term lets of halls.
Recommendation is that any such requests be referred to Church of Scotland, Law Department.
Half of all gross income in excess of £10,000 received from outside agencies for use of premises forms part of Assessable Income for ‘Giving to Grow’ calculations.
Vision Building
Questionnaires will provide some detail. Congregational input beyond these will be required.

GCH
Currie Kirk purchased the halls for a minimal fee.
Documents pertaining to the Halls need to be checked re any special conditions of use and Trustees going forward.
Union Time Line
Will be presented to Presbytery in December at the latest.
Congregational Vote will be held before then. Both churches will vote on the same day, yet to be announced. It will be a secret ballot.
Away Day
16th September at GCH. 9.30am for a 10am start.
Points of discussion: Findings of Questionnaires , Parish Profile, Early Actions - Committees/Teams.
Develop ideas.
Remit of SG
Short term. The group’s aim is to facilitate. Once Union takes place then SG will end soon after.
The KS needs to drive changes required.
