Church Name Voting
Update from the Steering Group
On Sunday 24th of May both congregations will have a vote on the final name for our joint church. You will have to be at the services on Sunday to vote and will be asked to choose one. The top 5 names from the previous vote in alphabetical order are:
Balerno and Currie Parish Church
Currie and Balerno Kirk
Currie and Balerno Parish Church
Kirk of Currie and Balerno
West Pentlands Church
We hope you will consider these prayerfully and choose the name which you consider best to represent our combined vision for the future.

Church Times -
We are looking for suggestions from the congregation about the timings of services in the 2 churches. Please email suggestions to the Church Offices by Wednesday 27th May.
The Good Book Group -
Following a meeting of those who showed an interest in setting up a Good Book Group, it was decided to give everyone two opportunities to meet together, informally, to explore the Bible and our Christian faith.
The Good Book Groups will therefore meet on a Monday morning from 11-12 noon in the Shepherd Room at Balerno Parish Church and from
7-8pm on a Tuesday evening in the lounge at the Gibson Craig Hall. Having two groups, will give people a choice of time/day to meet in any one week.
The groups will commence weekly from the 8th and 9th of June, 2026,
and we will start by studying the book of Esther.
Please think about coming along to one of these groups. All are welcome.
