Pastoral Care

Our Pastoral Care Committee oversees pastoral visiting and has set up specialist teams to undertake visits, for example, to those who are housebound or in long-term residential care, those suffering from short or long term illness and those who are in hospital. The Committee is involved in bereavement situations and baptisms/blessings. It also coordinates arrangements for home communion. At present there are approximately 40 pastoral visitors drawn from church members and the Kirk Session. The remit of this committee may be read here (this will open in a new window)
