Pastoral Care

Our Pastoral Care Committee oversees pastoral visiting and has set up specialist teams to undertake visits, for example, to those who are housebound or in long-term residential care, those suffering from short or long term illness and those who are in hospital. The Committee is involved in bereavement situations and baptisms/blessings. It also coordinates arrangements for home communion. At present there are approximately 40 pastoral visitors drawn from church members and the Kirk Session.
