Gibson Craig Halls

The Gibson Craig Halls are situated at the heart of Currie on the main Lanark Road West. The No 44 Bus stops outside. When not used by Church Organisations the halls can be let by community groups and for one off social events. We have a large hall, a smaller hall, a lounge, three offices, kitchen, ladies & gents toilets and a disabled toilet. There are access ramps for wheel chairs.

Pricing for hall lets

Hourly rates for hall lets fall in to two categories – regular users (R) and commercial users (C):

Large Hall: R = £20.00, C = £35.00

Our large hall is 15 x 9.5 metres with a large, raised stage area. We have equipped it with tables and chairs, and a loop system for the hard of hearing. The hall can seat up to 180 (without tables).

Small Hall: R = £15.00, C = £30.00

Our small hall is 11.5 x 6.5 metres. We have equipped it with tables and chairs, and a loop system for the hard of hearing. A folding partition can divide the hall in two. The hall can seat up to 60 (without tables).

Lounge: R = £10.00, C = no commercial lets

This a small cosy room with seating for 16, suitable for committee meetings.
